A Passion for  Living Textiles

The Genie Studio was born in 2019 from a lifelong love affair with India's most extraordinary textile tradition. Mrs. Renuka Sharma grew up watching her grandmother drape a Banarasi for every celebration — each fold a memory, each zari thread a story passed down through generations.

When she found herself holding a magnificent Kanjivaram at an estate sale, she realised these heirlooms deserved a second life — not a shelf. Today, The Genie Studio is a carefully tended boutique where every preloved saree is authenticated, lovingly restored where needed, and given the narrative it deserves.

From Bengal's Baluchari to Maharashtra's Paithani, each piece in our collection carries the fingerprint of master weavers and the warmth of women who treasured them. So far we have served 25000 organic saree lovers across the globe.
